Jesus is the only answer for Troubled Teens...

Troubled Teen Girls

The teenage years are when boys and girls start to segregate even more. Add hormones into the equation and you may have way more than you can handle as a parent. A boarding school just for troubled teen girls is a great alternative.

The Special Needs of Troubled Teen Girls
The majority of boarding schools for troubled teen girls is Christian oriented. The intent is to reconnect young girls with traditional values in an environment that is free of the media, peer pressure, and boys. Many girls feel relieved to be going away to boarding school. Often times they are having trouble coping with drugs, pregnancy, or influential friends. An all-girl boarding school can provide relief from the negativity that confronts them at their regular school.

In addition to Christian oriented boarding schools, there are also all-girl boarding schools that do not involve religion at all. Some schools specialize in dealing with eating disorders. Other schools focus on academics. Whatever the special need may be, rest assured there is a boarding school for your daughter. It is just a matter of finding the appropriate school.

If you deem sending your daughter away to a boarding school to be too extreme, there are many alternatives for troubled teen girls. Some wilderness programs, for example, are exclusively for girls. In short, there are numerous programs available that cater just to girls.
